This is our Smoky Mountain Bow Knife in hand-selected Black Walnut wood. They slice all types of breads, cheese, bagels, vegetables and fruits, and smoked or cooked meats. These are excellent for slicing really crusty sourdough bread, and will allow you to slice bread while it's hot.

Each knife is handcrafted by my family and me from furniture grade Black Walnut. The locally sourced Black Walnut is kiln dried so as to not crack or warp over time. I use only stainless steel blades, and set the blades with stainless steel screws. Our blades are designed for industrial food slicing, so they should never dull or rust in a home kitchen. 

Total knife length is approximately 16.5 inches, width at widest point is approximately 2 inches.

Blades have a cutting length of 9 inches with an approximate cutting width of 1.5 inches.

You can slice anything as thin as you'd like or a maximum thickness of approximately 1.5 inches.

Measurements are approximate as this is an entirely handmade item, so no two will be exactly alike.

All knives come with an attached leather hanging cord and a black plastic ( reusable) blade cover. No stains are used on any of the wood. The only things I use are food safe oil and all-natural wax after sanding. This gives them the perfect feel and seals the wood. I highly recommend my knives for cutting everything you cut in the kitchen (not just bread), but they are not meant for cutting raw meats or bones.

Always use with caution, handwash, and put the blade protector back on from the dull side after washing. Wipe down with any food-safe oil like mineral oil about once a month. Each comes with full care instructions.
